ഹൈക്കോടതി ഉത്തരവിനെത്തുടർന്ന് കോർപ്പറേഷനിലെ 19 ബിജെപി അംഗങ്ങൾ ഇന്നലെ ഈശ്വരനാമത്തിൽ വീണ്ടും സത്യപ്രതിജ്ഞ ചെയ്ത് പ്രതിസന്ധി ഒഴിവാക്കിയിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ, ആർ. സുഗതന് സത്യപ്രതിജ്ഞ ചെയ്യാൻ സാധിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല.
