ഡൽഹി: ആന്ധ്രാപ്രദേശിന്റെ സ്ഥിരം തലസ്ഥാനമായി അമരാവതിയെ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള സുപ്രധാന ബില്ല് ലോക്സഭ പാസാക്കി (Amaravati Capital). 2026-ലെ ആന്ധ്രാപ്രദേശ് പുനഃസംഘടന (ഭേദഗതി) ബില്ലാണ് സഭ അംഗീകരിച്ചത്. ഭരണകക്ഷിയായ ബിജെപിക്കും ടിഡിപിക്കും പുറമെ കോൺഗ്രസും ബില്ലിനെ പിന്തുണച്ചു. ശബ്ദവോട്ടോടെയാണ് ബില്ല് പാസാക്കിയത്.
അമരാവതിയെ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ഏക തലസ്ഥാനമാക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് മാർച്ച് 28-ന് ആന്ധ്ര നിയമസഭ പ്രമേയം പാസാക്കിയിരുന്നു. ഇതിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ അതിവേഗ നടപടികളുമായി മുന്നോട്ട് പോയത്. ഇതോടെ മുൻപ് വൈഎസ്ആർ കോൺഗ്രസ് സർക്കാർ മുന്നോട്ടുവെച്ചിരുന്ന ‘മൂന്ന് തലസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ’ എന്ന പദ്ധതി പൂർണ്ണമായും തള്ളപ്പെട്ടു. അമരാവതി ഭരണനിർവ്വഹണ, നിയമനിർമ്മാണ, ജുഡീഷ്യൽ ആസ്ഥാനമായി ഇനി മാറും.
