പ്രദേശത്ത് ദിവസങ്ങളായി കാട്ടാനശല്യം രൂക്ഷമായി തുടരുകയാണ്. ഇതിനെതിരെ നാട്ടുകാരുടെ പ്രതിഷേധം ശക്തമാകുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് വീണ്ടും കാട്ടാന ജനവാസമേഖലയിലിറങ്ങിയത്. വനംവകുപ്പിന്റെ ദ്രുതപ്രതികരണ സേന (ആർആർടി) സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി പരിശോധന നടത്തിയെങ്കിലും ആനക്കൂട്ടത്തെ കണ്ടെത്താനായിട്ടില്ല.
