തിരുവനന്തപുരം: കെഎസ്ആർടിസിയുടെ ‘പ്രിയദർശിനി’ സൗജന്യയാത്ര പദ്ധതി നടപ്പിലാക്കിയതോടെ കാസർകോട് ജില്ലയിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ബസ് മേഖല പ്രതിസന്ധിയിൽ. നഷ്ടം സഹിക്കാനാവാതെ ബസ് ഉടമകൾ സർവീസ് നിർത്തിവെക്കാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി 10 ബസുകൾ ഇതിനകം ആർടിഒ ഓഫീസിൽ ‘ജി ഫോം’ നൽകി.(Kasaragod Private Buses To Halt Services Over KSRTC Free Travel Scheme)
ഈ മാസം 30-ഓടെ ത്രൈമാസ നികുതി കാലാവധി അവസാനിക്കുന്നതോടെ കൂടുതൽ ബസുകൾ സർവീസ് നിർത്തിവെക്കാനാണ് ഉടമകളുടെ തീരുമാനം. കാസർകോട് ജില്ലയിൽ നിലവിൽ 10 ബസുകൾ സർവീസ് നിർത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിലും, വരും ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ 70 ശതമാനത്തോളം ബസുകൾ ഇതേ പാത പിന്തുടരുമെന്ന് പ്രൈവറ്റ് ബസ് ഓപ്പറേറ്റേഴ്സ് ഫെഡറേഷൻ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നൽകുന്നു.
