കൊച്ചി: കരുവന്നൂർ സഹകരണ ബാങ്ക് തട്ടിപ്പ് കേസിൽ ഉന്നത സി.പി.എം നേതാക്കൾക്കെതിരെ പ്രഥമദൃഷ്ട്യാ തെളിവുണ്ടെന്ന് പി.എം.എൽ.എ കോടതി. എം.എൽ.എ എ.സി. മൊയ്തീൻ, കെ. രാധാകൃഷ്ണൻ എം.പി, തൃശൂർ ജില്ലാ സെക്രട്ടറി എം.എം. വർഗീസ് എന്നിവരടക്കമുള്ള നേതാക്കൾ വിചാരണ നേരിടണമെന്ന് കോടതി വ്യക്തമാക്കി. തട്ടിപ്പ് കേസിന്റെ ഗൗരവവും നേതാക്കളുടെ പങ്കാളിത്തവും പരിഗണിച്ചാണ് കോടതിയുടെ ഉത്തരവ്.(Karuvannur Bank scam, CPM Leaders To Face Trial)
28 പ്രതികൾക്ക് കോടതി നോട്ടീസയച്ചു. കേസിൽ രണ്ട് പ്രതികൾക്ക് സുപ്രീംകോടതി ജാമ്യം അനുവദിച്ചു. ഒന്നാം പ്രതി ബാങ്ക് സെക്രട്ടറി ടി.ആർ. സുനിൽ കുമാറിന്റെ ഭാര്യ ജിത ഭാസ്കർ, മൂന്നാം പ്രതിയുടെ ഭാര്യ ശ്രീലത എന്നിവർക്കാണ് ജാമ്യം ലഭിച്ചത്. കേസിലെ ഒന്നാം പ്രതിയായ ടി.ആർ. സുനിൽ കുമാർ സി.പി.എം ലോക്കൽ കമ്മിറ്റിയംഗവും പ്രാദേശിക നേതാവുമായിരുന്നു. സംസ്ഥാനം കണ്ടതിൽ വെച്ച് ഏറ്റവും വലിയ സഹകരണ ബാങ്ക് തട്ടിപ്പാണ് കരുവന്നൂരിലേത്.
