മാൽഡ: ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ റെയിൽവേ ശൃംഖലയുടെ കിഴക്കേ അറ്റത്തുള്ള അവസാനത്തെ റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷനായ പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാളിലെ സിംഗാബാദ് റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷൻ ശ്രദ്ധേയമാകുന്നു (Singhabad Railway Station). പശ്ചിമ ബംഗാളിലെ മാൽഡ ജില്ലയിൽ ഇന്ത്യ-ബംഗ്ലാദേശ് അതിർത്തിയോട് ചേർന്നാണ് ഈ ചരിത്രപ്രസിദ്ധമായ റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷൻ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. സിംഗാബാദ്-രോഹൻപൂർ റെയിൽ പാതയിലുള്ള ഈ സ്റ്റേഷന് ശേഷം ഇന്ത്യൻ റെയിൽവേയുടെ ട്രാക്കുകൾ അവസാനിക്കുകയും ബംഗ്ലാദേശിന്റെ അതിർത്തി പങ്കിടുന്ന വിദേശ മണ്ണിലേക്ക് റെയിൽ പാതകൾ പ്രവേശിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
