കോഴിക്കോട്: പേരാമ്പ്രയിൽ ഓടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന കാറിന് പെട്ടെന്ന് തീപിടിച്ച് ഗർഭിണിയായ യുവതിക്ക് ദാരുണ അന്ത്യം (Kozhikode Pregnant Woman Car Fire). പേരാമ്പ്ര ചെറുവണ്ണൂർ കക്കറമുക്കിൽ വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച രാത്രി ഒമ്പതരയോടെയാണ് നാടിനെ നടുക്കിയ ഈ സംഭവം നടന്നത്. പൂവത്തുംചാലിൽ റിജിൻലാലിന്റെ ഭാര്യ സോന (27) ആണ് മരണപ്പെട്ടത്. ഗർഭിണിയായ സോനയെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ കാണിച്ച് ഭർത്താവ് റിജിൻലാലിനൊപ്പം വീട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങുന്നതിനിടെയാണ് ഇവർ സഞ്ചരിച്ചിരുന്ന കാറിന് തീപിടിക്കുന്നത്. സോന കാറിന്റെ പിൻസീറ്റിലായിരുന്നു ഇരുന്നിരുന്നത്.
കാറിന്റെ മുൻഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് തീ പടർന്ന ഉടൻ തന്നെ വാഹനം ഓടിച്ചിരുന്ന റിജിൻലാൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങി സോനയെ രക്ഷിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചെങ്കിലും പിൻഭാഗത്തെ ഡോർ ജാമായി ലോക്കായതിനാൽ തുറക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല. ഓടിക്കൂടിയ നാട്ടുകാർ ഏറെ പണിപ്പെട്ട് ഡോർ തകർത്ത് സോനയെ പുറത്തെടുത്ത് ഉടൻ തന്നെ ആശുപത്രിയിലെത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല.
ഭാര്യയെ രക്ഷിക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമത്തിനിടയിൽ കടുത്ത പൊള്ളലേറ്റ ഭർത്താവ് റിജിൻലാലിനെ കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഷോർട്ട് സർക്യൂട്ട് ആണ് കാറിന് തീപിടിക്കാൻ കാരണമെന്നാണ് പ്രാഥമിക നിഗമനം. പോലീസ് സംഭവത്തിൽ അന്വേഷണം ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
