ലക്നൗ: ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിലെ മീററ്റ് മോഡിപുരത്തുള്ള സ്വകാര്യ സർവകലാശാലയിലെ മൂന്നാം വർഷ ബി.സി.എ വിദ്യാർത്ഥിനിയായ പ്രിയയെയാണ് മരിച്ച നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയത് (Meerut Student Death). ബിഹാറിലെ ഛപ്ര ജില്ലയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള പ്രിയ, ഇതേ സർവകലാശാലയിൽ പഠിക്കുന്ന സഹോദരനൊപ്പമാണ് താമസിച്ചിരുന്നത്.
തിങ്കളാഴ്ച (മാർച്ച് 23, 2026) വൈകുന്നേരത്തോടെ സഹോദരനാണ് പ്രിയയെ മുറിക്കുള്ളിൽ അബോധാവസ്ഥയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. ഉടൻ തന്നെ ആശുപത്രിയിലെത്തിച്ചെങ്കിലും ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കാനായില്ല.പല്ലവ്പുരം പോലീസ് സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി മുറി പരിശോധിച്ചു. മൃതദേഹം പോസ്റ്റ്മോർട്ടത്തിനായി അയച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
പ്രഥമദൃഷ്ട്യാ ഇതൊരു ആത്മഹത്യയാണെന്നാണ് പോലീസിന്റെ നിഗമനം. എന്നാൽ മരണത്തിലേക്ക് നയിച്ച കാരണങ്ങൾ വ്യക്തമല്ല. പെൺകുട്ടിയുടെ മൊബൈൽ ഫോൺ ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ളവ പോലീസ് പരിശോധിച്ചു വരികയാണ്.കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളെ വിവരം അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും പോസ്റ്റ്മോർട്ടം റിപ്പോർട്ട് ലഭിച്ചാലേ മരണകാരണത്തിൽ കൂടുതൽ വ്യക്തത വരൂ എന്നും പല്ലവ്പുരം എസ്.എച്ച്.ഒ മഹേഷ് കുമാർ അറിയിച്ചു.
Incident Summary:
A 20-year-old BCA student, Priya, was found dead in her room at a private university in Modipuram, Meerut. A native of Bihar’s Chhapra district, she was discovered in an unconscious state by her brother, who is also a student at the same institution. Although she was rushed to the hospital, she was declared brought dead. Pallavpuram Police, led by SHO Mahesh Kumar, have initiated an investigation and sent the body for autopsy. While preliminary findings suggest suicide, the police are looking into all possible angles.
